“If you always put limits on what you can do, physical or anything else, it’ll spread over into the rest of your life. It’ll spread into your work, into your morality, into your entire being. There are no limits. There are plateaus, but you must not stay there, you must go beyond them.”
Nicely stated. I can’t think of a better way to end 2013 and welcome 2014. I knew going into 2013, this was going to be my year. Big things were going to happen this year. I had the mindset, the drive, and the passion to see it through. I was going to qualify for Boston (which I did!). I was going to focus on being the best I can be at work, as a coach for Girls on the Run, and through service on various Boards. I was setting my sights on living for God, not living for me. Little did I know, that would also translate into relationships in my personal life blossoming! Looking back, 2012 was most certainly a “plateau”, but I didn’t stay there, I pushed beyond it, and I know the best is yet to come! Cheers!
